Hello, all those wonderful Supernatural fanatics in the San Francisco Bay Area! Now's the time to link up with each other!
I'm hoping to start fostering a community in this lovely nook of California, especially because every Supernatural fan knows that a Supernatural fan's favorite thing to talk about is Supernatural!
It's also because the venerable fandom-rocks.com has begun their second charity campaign, with their two charities the Lawrence Humane Society and the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund. On their livejournal page, Fandom Rocks livejournal, they have a post suggesting some ways to raise money. One of the ideas I particularly like and think is within "do-able-ness" (it's a word, I wrote it) is a car wash.
It's pretty sunny and I believe it will stay o-kay weather for a car wash at least until mid October. I think it's a great idea, a great cause, and a wonderful event to bond all the SF Bay Area fans together. It's also a great way to promote our show!

We need to figure out: 1. the date (corresponding with the weather, I hope!) 2. the place (a well-trafficked intersection and gas station) 3. the time 4. coordination of volunteers 5. coordination of supplies 6. banners, etc 7. how much we can raise (boo-yah!) for these wonderful charities
